In addition to traditional facelift and blepharoplasty procedures, Mark A. Clymer, MD offers non-surgical face lift and blepharoplasty alternatives with Liquid Face Lift procedures. Dr. Clymer has performed over 5,000 non-surgical facial contouring procedures using advanced injection techniques with liquid face lift products such as Radiesse®, Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm®, and Sculptra®, as well as BOTOX® and Dysport®. Dr. Clymer is recognized by Allergan as a Gold Provider of Juvederm® and BOTOX®, signifying extensive experience. In addition to his private practice of over 15 years serving Brentwood and the greater Nashville area, Dr. Clymer continues to be involved in education and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters in the field of plastic surgery, and has served as the guest editor for the Facial Plastic Surgery journal.
Dr. Clymer has been invited to appear on FOX News Fox & Friends as well as MSNBC’s Dr.Nancy Show to share his medical expertise on facial plastic surgery topics. He was the invited feature presenter for the 2011 ‘Nashville’s Greatest Makeover’.
Dr. Clymer received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine after receiving his undergraduate degree with Honors and High Distinction. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, and completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Dr. Clymer is a facial plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgical and non-surgical treatments of the face, nose, eyelids, head and neck.
Dr. Clymer is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He serves on the Public Relations Committee, Membership Committee and the Socio-Economic & Regulatory Affairs Committee for the AAFPRS, and is on the Medical Advisory Board of the Cool Springs Surgery Center.
