Joseph A. Dr. Eviatar is a certified Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology & the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Eviatar received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and went on to complete his internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. After serving as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at NYU Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic, Cosmetic, Orbital and Reconstructive Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City.
In addition to his private practice in New York, Dr. Eviatar is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College and Director of Oculoplastics at SUNY School of Optometry. He performs medical research, lectures extensively to his colleagues and is often featured in the press for his medical expertise.
Dr. Eviatar has been recognized as a New York Super Doctor in Cosmetic Surgery, and listed in the Guide To America’s Top Ophthalmologists. He has been featured on both NBC and CBS performing the Liquid Eye Lift. A recognized expert with multiple cosmetic and vision correction lasers, Dr. Eviatar has performed thousands of surgery procedures for laser vision correction, facial reconstruction and cosmetic purposes (wrinkle correction with BOTOX®, acne, scars, etc.). He is a skilled injector of advanced facial fillers, and is sought out for treatments around the eyes as well as other areas of the face.
