William H. Truswell, MD, FACS

In addition to traditional facelift and blepharoplasty procedures, William H. Truswell, M.D. offers non-surgical face lift and blepharoplasty alternatives with liquid face lift procedures. Dr. Truswell has performed thousands of non-surgical facial contouring procedures using advanced injection techniques with liquid facelift products such as Radiesse^®, Restylane^®, Perlane^®, Juvederm^® and Sculptra^® Aesthetic, as well as BOTOX^®. He is recognized by Allergan as a Gold Provider for Juvederm^® & BOTOX^®, signifying extensive experience. Dr. Truswell practices in the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy suburb of Northampton, MA.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Truswell is a Clinical Instructor in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology, Department of Surgery, at the University of Connecticut Medical School. He has served in leadership capacity for numerous medical societies and organizations, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the ABFPRS and The New England Richard C. Webster Society for Facial Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Truswell has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals and has authored several books on Facial Cosmetic Surgery: The Non-Surgical Facelift, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Nose Reshaping, and Facelifts; he also is the editor of a post-doctoral textbook, Surgical Facial Rejuvenation, A Roadmap to Safe and Reliable Outcomes. He is a frequent national and international speaker and lecturer at medical meetings and conferences and has taught facial plastic surgery in 9 countries on 4 continents. Dr. Truswell has designed a surgical instrument for use in facial plastic surgery. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including nomination as President Elect for The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Life Member National Registry of Who’s Who.

Dr. Truswell regularly donates his time to humanitarian organizations such as Face to Face - The National Domestic Violence Project and Face to Face – International, traveling overseas to teach and share his skills by operating with young surgeons in third world countries.

In addition to non-surgical Liquid Face Lift with BOTOX^® and Juvederm^®, Dr. Truswell and his staff offer a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic medical procedures, including traditional face lift, eyelid lift (blepharoplasty), brow lift, endoscopic forehead lift, rhinoplasty, ear reshaping, cheek augmentation, chin augmentation, lip augmentation, laser hair removal, and laser treatments for spider veins and brown spots, and fractional laser resurfacing with the Ultrapulse Encore by Lumenis. Additional procedures include anti-aging skin care series, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and spa treatments.

He is a founder and incorporator of The Richard T. Webster New England Society of Facial Plastic Surgery.
