From The State University of New York School of Medicine, Dr. Poulos earned her medical doctorate. She completed her general surgery residency at Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut, where she became chief resident. Continuing her education, Dr. Poulos completed her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Dr. Poulos is Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of General Surgery, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. The Best of Worcester Magazine recognized Dr. Poulos as a “Best Cosmetic Surgeon”.
