In addition to his private practice in Mobile, Dr. Martin is actively involved in training and lecturing other surgeons and physicians in both surgical and non-surgical techniques. As a member of the Allergan (maker’s of BOTOX®/Juvederm®) National Education Faculty, Dr. Martin instructs other physicians from around the country in advanced facial rejuvenation injection techniques with liquid facelift products. Dr. Martin serves as a Physician Trainer and Lecturer for Syneron, makers of medical laser equipment.
Having received his medical degree from East Tennessee State University College of Medicine, Dr. Martin then completed his surgical residency in head & neck surgery at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, followed by his fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery through the Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program. Dr. Martin is dual board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery.
For seven consecutive years, Dr. Martin has received the Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Cosmetic Surgeon” from the Mobile Press Register. He also regularly donates his time to humanitarian organizations such as medical missions to Central America, as well as community services.
