Now, Dr. Hopping is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at George Washington University and is involved in teaching facial plastic surgery to students and residents from the University. He lectures at numerous national and international conferences with respect to cosmetic surgery. Dr. Hopping also teaches the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Board Review course on a yearly basis.

Dr. Hopping is Board certified by four separate boards: The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and The American Board of Hair Restoration. He is Past President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and has written several articles published in medical journals.

Dedicated to medical missionary work, Dr. Hopping, along with his wife and staff members, travel to Nicaragua twice a year, providing reconstructive surgical services to underprivileged Latin American families.

Dr. Hopping is recognized as a Top Doctor for Plastic Surgery by Washingtonian Magazine numerous times, and as a Best Cosmetic Surgeon in America by Town & Country Magazine.
