In addition to traditional facelift and blepharoplasty procedures, Landon D. McLain, M.D. offers non-surgical face lift and blepharoplasty alternatives with Liquid Face Lift procedures. Dr. McLain has performed over 1,000 non-surgical facial contouring procedures using advanced injection techniques with liquid face lift products such as Radiesse® and Juvederm XC®, as well as over 1,000 BOTOX® and XEOMIN® procedures. He instructs other medical practitioners on advanced dermal filler injection techniques for facial rejuvenation. Dr. McLain practices in Huntsville, Alabama.
Dr. McLain is certified by both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. After completing both dental school (University of Alabama School of Dentistry) and medical school (University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio), Dr. McLain finished his general surgery internship at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. This was followed by completion of an oral & maxillofacial surgery residency, with emphasis on facial trauma, reconstruction and orthognathic surgery, as well as facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. McLain served as Chief Resident of the oral and maxillofacial department from 2007-2008.
After residency, Dr. McLain was accepted into a fellowship in general cosmetic surgery, under the directorship of the past-president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). During his fellowship, Dr. McLain completed nearly 1,400 major surgical procedures focusing entirely on aesthetic enhancement and rejuvenation of the face, breast and body.
Dr. McLain has lectured and published literature on multiple topics in oral & maxillofacial surgery as well as facial, breast and body cosmetic surgery. He has also served as faculty for multiple live surgical workshops sponsored by the AACS, where he helps to train other surgeons from around the world in the field of cosmetic surgery.
Dr. McLain serves as a board examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. In this capacity, Dr. McLain evaluates potential surgeons from multiple surgical disciplines who wish to achieve the distinction of board certification in cosmetic surgery.
Dr. McLain is actively committed to giving back to the community, including multiple medical missions to Honduras and Peru.
In addition to non-surgical Liquid Face Lift procedures with Juvederm® and BOTOX®, Dr. McLain and the staff of McLain Surgical Arts offer a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic medical procedures, including facelifts, brow lifts, eyelid enhancements, rhinoplasties, tummy tucks, liposuction, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, breast revision and laser skin resurfacing procedures. Additionally, Dr. McLain and staff perform a variety of non-invasive treatments for crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead wrinkles, neck bands, smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles.
