Jess Prischmann, MD

In addition to traditional facelift and blepharoplasty procedures, Jess Prischmann, M.D. offers non-surgical face lift and blepharoplasty alternatives with Liquid Face Lift procedures. Dr. Prischmann has performed more than 1,000 non-surgical facial contouring procedures using advanced injection techniques with liquid face lift products such as Radiesse^®, Restylane^®, Perlane^®, Juvederm^®, and Sculptra^®, as well as BOTOX^® and Dysport^®. Dr. Prischmann serves patients in the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota metro area.

Dr. Prischmann received her B.S. degree in Journalism from Boston University at the age of 19. She was published in numerous newspapers, including The New York Times and Newsday. In 2001 she received the “Blue Chip Award”, a prestigious student award at BU’s College of Communication. She received her medical degree from the Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where she graduated with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society) indicating excellence in medical knowledge and clinical skills. Dr. Prischmann graduated in the top of her class and was the first recipient of the Aaron Selber Leadership Award. Jess Prischmann, MD is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. Prischmann completed her general surgery internship and residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. During residency, she was recognized for her performance on national in-service training exams. She was the co-host of a syndicated weekly radio show called the “Medical Edge Weekend”. For her volunteer efforts, she was awarded the ‘Zumbro Valley Medical Society Community Service Award’.

In addition to her private practice in Edina, Dr. Prischmann continues to be involved in education. She has authored a book chapter on “Injectables and Fillers in Male Patients” and an upcoming chapter on blepharoplasty with a section on periorbital fillers.

Dr. Prischmann has completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with Steven W. Perkins, a leader in the field of facial plastic surgery. She was awarded the Jack R. Anderson Prize for Scholastic Excellence for the highest score in the nation on the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery examination.

In addition to non-surgical Liquid Face Lift procedures with Juvederm^® and BOTOX^®, Dr. Prischmann and the staff of Prischmann Facial Plastic Surgery offer a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic medical procedures, including wrinkle correction, facelift, rhinoplasty, ear lobe repair, neck contouring, eyelid lift, forehead/brow lift, lip enhancement and laser skin resurfacing. Additional procedures include laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, IPL laser skin rejuvenation, and BOTOX^®.
